N°1 Quercetin Plus is a product that contains quercetin and turmeric with black pepper.

Quercetin

It is classified as a flavonol. Its name comes from the Latin quercetum, meaning oak forest. Quercetin, a plant-derived compound, is found in lovage, sorrel plants, radishes, and coriander, among others. However, its bioavailability is quite low and it is metabolized very quickly. The quercetin in our supplement comes from the Japanese pagoda tree.

Turmeric

Also known as turmeric, it originates from India, where it was used in Ayurveda. Turmeric contributes to lipid metabolism in the liver and counteracts fat accumulation. N°1 Quercetin Plus features the dual-patented ingredient CURSOLTM.

The turmeric extract used is standardized to 95% curcuminoids. Its loose powder form allowed for the compound to be combined with other ingredients. CURSOLTM was tested for oral toxicity at PHYCHER Laboratories in France. Its solubility, which influences bioavailability, was also determined. This solubility was higher than that of the compared formulas.

The functionality and effectiveness of CURSOL™ have been tested in vitro. The results of this study, conducted in collaboration with the Bone and Cartilage Research Unit (Belgium) and led by Professor Yves Henrotin, were published in Inflammation Research1.

Black pepper

Well-known primarily as a spice, the extract in N°1 Quercetin Plus is standardized for the presence of piperine. This substance positively affects turmeric's absorption.
